Our faculty have written and edited a number of texts on their research. The department also publishes a newsletter and annual report for members of the public interested in what the department is up to.
Applied Mathematics publishes a newsletter every year to get the message out to alumni, donors, and friends of the department as to what our dynamic faculty and students have done in the past year. These newsletters are photo-oriented and illustrate how the department mixes "doing more math" with a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Where the Newsletters are designed to give friends of the department an informal overview of what's happening in Applied Math, the Annual Reports are intended to be a complete record of what the department accomplished in a given year. From the 1989 academic year until the 2006 academic year, Annual Reports were orgainzed by academic year. In 2007, in response to how the University collects its data from faculty, Annual Reports were re-organized to reflect calendar year.
