Install the Retrospect client software for Mac OS X.
Double-click the RetroClient Installer and enter an
administrator-level name and password when prompted. Follow the
steps to the Easy Install screen and click Install.
The installer will automatically create a folder named Dantz
Beta in /Applications/, where it will install the RetroClient
software and associated documentation. The install destination
is not user-modifiable.
When finished, quit the installer. The Retrospect client window
will open automatically.
Activate the Retrospect Mac OS X client.
Click the On button and give the client a password. Remember
this password; you will need to enter it in the Retrospect
Backup application to successfully log in this Mac OS X client.
Your Retrospect client for Mac OS X is now running. It is not
necessary to restart the computer, but if you do, the Retrospect
client will launch automatically. Let JDM know when the above
is done so he can add you to the backup list.
