Help Resources:

Math Workshops - Students registered for APPM 1350 qualify to register also in GEEN 1350 (meets on R from 1-2:50pm in BRKT LNGE). This is 1 credit fail/pass course which is intended to enhance and complement your understanding of Calculus I. The emphasis is on group work. Students work collaboratively and talk about the problems. It is a great way for students to get extra practice in a supervised environment. In the past, students have found that the extra practice from these workshops has improved their overall calc grade by an average of 1/2 of a letter grade. Thus, either if you want to learn more about Calculus or if you think you need complementary work to obtain a better grade in this class, you should without a doubt register in this course. GEEN 1350 starts on Thursday, Jan 13.

Graphing Tools:

MVT - This Mathematical Visualization Toolkit was developed by undergraduate and graduate students in the Applied Math Department. It has a variety of applications such as plotting graphs and curves and solving (systems of) equations, among many other things.
