Class Guidelines
- Purpose:
- Strengthen concepts learned in lecture
- Prepare for exams
- This class is not intended to be a homework help session;
rather the problems will be new and some will require a deeper
understanding of the material.
- Grade Determination: The grade for the workshop will be either Pass or Fail.
- Pass=No more than 2 absences
- Fail=More than 2 absences
- To get an attendance point you must be present and actively participating for the entire workshop.
- Course Work:
- Each week there will be one new worksheet, which will be worked on in groups during the workshop.
- In each group, one person will be designated as the writer and
the whole group will brainstorm to solve each problem. The writer will
rotate for each problem.
- When your group finishes each problem you will get the
attention of either of the LA's or the TA to check that you did the
problem correctly.
