- Oct 22, 2012: You will have the same formula sheet for
exam 2 that you had for exam 1.
- Oct 4, 2012: Here are some additional surface area
examples that were prepared by John Villavert. The last page of this handout includes an
example on work from section 7.5.
- Sept 30, 2012: Here is the surface area material
that we will cover in lecture on Mon, Oct 1. The written homework problems are #6, 10, 16, 26, 28, and
32. They are at the end of the surface area material. They are due on Wednesday, Oct 3. There are
no WebAssign problems due on Oct 3.
- Sept 18, 2012: Here is the formula sheet for
exam 1.
- Sept 7, 2012 : Homework solutions, to the written homework problems, are now posted.

Textbook
- Required textbook: Essential Calculus , first edition by James Stewart
- Required access: WebAssign access for online homework. If you purchase your
text from the CUBookstore, the WebAssign access code is bundled with the book.
If you purchase your book online or used, please make sure that it comes with an
unused WebAssign access code so you can do the required homework.
- System requirements for WebAssign online homework: WebAssign is available through the internet
and can be used on most computer platforms that have Flash. (The Apple iPad does not support Flash.)
- You can log on to WebAssign
with your CU Identikey and password.
