The following schedule lists the sections covered in each lecture as well as the homework problems associated with the section. Links to the solutions will be added after your homework assignments have been submitted.
On your homework, write your name, student number and recitation section number. Homework should be written neatly and the pages should be stapled together. Any concerns about the grading of your homework should be directed to your TA.
We want you to do well in this course. The keys to success are simple: read the book, attend lecture, and do your homework regularly; ask questions when you do not understand. Since some of the answers are in the back of the book, you will get no credit for simply writing down the answer: you must show your own work.
No late homework will be graded.
Homework assignments from sections covered on
Wednesdays, Fridays, and Mondays are due at the
start of the following Thursday recitation.
For example, the first assignment is simply section 10.1,
and the second assignment includes sections 10.2 and 10.3.
