10/10: HW 5 - Improper copying:

We have noted that some students, on HW 5, for one of the problems submitted solutions that contained an exact copy of a typo that originated in a solution manual – clearly in violation of the ‘Academic Honesty’ rules, as these are spelled out in the Course Syllabus and in the CU Student Honor Code. In this present instance, the sanction will be limited to a zero score for the homework.

Final Course Grades have been calculated from these Total Scores according to the following grade cut-offs: A 890, A- 850, B+ 820, B 780, B- 740, C+ 700, C 650, C- 600, D+ 570, D 540, D- 500. Lower still is F.

The "Special Needs" room for the Final is ECCR 265. It can be used by students in the following two categories:

1. Students who take both Calc III and Diff. Eq this semester (with conflicting times for the final exam) should do their Calc III in this room 7:30-10:00 am and then, in the same room, Diff Eq 10:30 am - 1:00 pm.

2. Students who have provided their instructor with a form from “Disability Services”, giving them extra time (1.5 times), should take their Diff. Eq. exam in this room 7:30 - 11:15 am.

Anyone else who needs to use this room must make prior arrangements with the Instructor for his/her Lecture Group.
