Important Information.
Textbook.
There is no required text book. However, much of the materials
described in the class can be found in a very preliminary
manuscript under development: "
Modeling in
Applied Mathematics" by Bengt Fornberg and Ben Herbst (Univ. of
Stellenbosch, South Africa).
At present, the manuscript is not only incomplete, but also excessively
long - so please don't print it out in its present form.
