| This Application is meant to show you how worthless your money can be. It has two calculators. One that shows what the rate of inflation between two years is based on real cpi data or cpi data that the user inputs. The other one shows you how much a certain amount of money in one year would be worth in another. Again, based on real cpi data or user inputted cpi data. | |
| This program made use of math equations that we learned in class that calculate inflation between years with various price indexes as well as equatoins that calculate how much prices can change over the years due to inflation. | |
| This program's biggest changes were not in art. However, the buttons and layout were improved to make them more visually appealing. Also, the short animation at the beginning of the piggy bank blowing up is meant to help illustrate how money can be pointless with inflation making it worth less and less. | |
| There was a lot of programming going on in this program. I ended up rewriting this program from scratch, so that involved writing code for both of the calculators as well as adding in real CPI data for the program to refrence. The most programming intensive task was creating the graph that visually showed how much inflation changed over a period of time. | |
