My project helps teach about angles and slopes. As a programmer, "Launch Skippy over the Water" would help with learning about how to use water effects and proportion (wave height). As a mathematician, it would help one with slopes. As an artist, it would help you with background design. You should always try to understand the code that you are copying too, so you can start coding by yourself.

For the art section of my application, I intend to have an island surrounded by water that Skippy must launch onto. The water will be taken from the Ice Melting application with waves added in. Skippy will be represented by the Mongoose vehicle from the video game Halo 3, this choice was inspired by a friend of mine. I will try to make the ramp look wooden so that it’ll be more aesthetically appealing. The island will be sand colored with palm trees and the mainland will be grass and dirt colored to make it seem like an island off of the mainland. The sky will be light blue with clouds and a color-shifting sun. I will also try to include sharks in the water. |

My application will use slopes to calculate where Skippy will go based on angle and power. This relates to the Pythagorean theorem that states a^2 * b^2 = c^2. Knowing the angle and distance, you can calculate how high the car goes. I will try to make the height of the waves proportional to the height Skippy goes. So that if Skippy lands in the water, the waves will be proportional to how high he went. |

Most of my programming will be from the original Skippy Launch program and water effects from Ice Melting. |
