NAME

chgrp   -- change the group ownership of files

SYNOPSIS

     chgrp [-Rv] group file [ file... ]

OPTIONS

The following groups exist as of August 2000:

	appm1350       appm2460       appm4720
	appm1360       appm3310       appm5600
	appm2350       appm4570       appm7400
	appm2360       appm4580
To change the users in a group, or to find out which users constitute a particular group, send email to ``webmaster@amath''.

A typical use of chgrp would be 

noether>  chgrp appm2360 syllabus.html       (set group ownership)
noether>  chmod 664 syllabus.html            (make the file group-editable)
