Bill Briggs
bagged the "High Five" (all but Sneffels) in 13 hours on July 27, 2001.
He did it all on foot by starting from the Uncompaghre trailhead at 5 am and
finishing at the Grizzly Gulch trailhead at 6 pm. This is the first known
"Category II" ascent of these five fourteeners.
