The Mathematics Visualization Toolkit, a Java-based instructional project of several years, won an ICTCM award for excellence. Many APPM student programmers have contributed to MVT over several years.

The Itanium Lab in ECCR 241 makes 9 high-performance computing HP Itanium processors available to APPM users. The lab is the result of a collaboration between the CU Applied Mathematics Department and Hewlett-Packard.
