Calculus for Secondary Math Teachers
Summer 2005

Re-invigorate your calculus teaching and find new ways to use technology in your classroom. This workshop explores selected calculus concepts in depth. Participants share and learn new teaching strategies, project ideas and ways to integrate the graphing calculator and its accessories into their curriculum. Topics we will explore include perspectives on limits, derivatives, applications and techniques of integration, and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. This material is aligned with the Colorado model content standards.



Dates: June 20 - 30, 2005, Monday through Thursday 

Times: 8:30am-12:00pm and 1:00-3:00pm

Location: University of Colorado at Boulder 

Credit: 2 semester hours (noncredit option available)

Tuition: $100  (limited partial scholarships available)
