I am a Ph.D student in the Department of Applied Mathematics in the University of Colorado at Boulder.
I expect to receive my Ph.D in 2009.
Research Interests
I am now working as a research assistant under Prof. Xiao-Chuan Cai in the Numerical Computation Lab.
My research interests are shown as follows:
- Domain decomposition methods and multigrid methods
- Parallel fully coupled algorithms for parallel computing with MPI and PETSc
- Numerical algorithms for solving large-scale non-linear problems
Now I am focusing on the following problems:
- Inverse problems especially inverse elliptic problems
- Helmholtz equations and the corresponding inverse provlems in biological tissues
- PDE-constrained optimization problems and image processing
