Std Map 4.5

StdMap displays the regular and chaotic dynamics of several "area preserving" mappings--those that arise from Hamiltonian dynamics. It will also find periodic orbits, cantori, and stable and unstable manifolds of any (symmetric) periodic orbit, and allow you to iterate arbitrary curves.

StdMap is a Mac OS X application. It requires Mac OS 10.6 or later, and runs fine under 10.14.6. This version is 32bit Intel (i386) binary, and so will not run under MacOS Catalina (10.15). Someday I hope to get around to updating the code to 64 bit, but for now, I rely on older "Carbon" libraries. If you have an older Mac, get an earlier version:
