Known Problems
-
When you print an orbit list (High resolution), it takes a very long time to
print. This is because I send each iterate to the printer.
Probably should create a high resolution bitmap and send that.
For now, the high resolution printing is only available if you
select the menu with the shift key down.
-
The Preview shown in the Open dialog is text, but it is the
intended picture in OS 9. Perhaps this is part of OS X's binding of
document types to the hidden extension?
-
When you save a file as a simpletext document, then
simpletext (Mac OS Classic) will display the picture. But in OS X, TextEdit has a
different format, a package, and we don't support that yet. So
TextEdit sees only the text part of the file.
-
The choice of symmetry line for the "minimizing" and
"minimax" orbits is not always correct. E.g., the two
frequency map when k2
> k1.
-
The new format for file data is not compatable with the old (version 4.1) format, so if you
open an old file the map parameters will not be set properly.
-
We don't read the orbit information back into the application when you open a file. So
the picture is there, but reploting the orbits doesn't work.
If you happen to have a problem with StdMap, do let me know!
